ROBERT DOWLING

Robert was responsible for photographing two album cover artworks for Pink Floyd; A momentary lapse of reason and Meddle. His Pink Floyd photography is managed exclusively by Whitebank Fine Art.

In an age when the traditional craft skills of photography are barely remembered, when everyone has a camera in a phone, Robert’s passion for creating interesting original content, beautiful composition, with an eye for detail, is undiminished.

As a boy Robert collected stamps. “Pouring over those tiny illustrations, I would be transported to exotic, colourful, far flung parts of the World, never imagining I would ever be able to travel to them”. But it was a passion for images of a different kind - photography and film – that took him to more countries than he can name.
